2. Who conducted the first NSGVP?
   
   The first NSGVP was a joint project between a number of nonprofit and voluntary organizations and government departments and agencies (Imagine Canada, Canadian Heritage, Human Resources Development Canada, Volunteer Canada, Health Canada, Statistics Canada, and the Kahanoff Foundation's Nonprofit Sector Research Initiative). The survey was conducted by Statistics Canada as a supplement to the Labour Force Survey.
